Singer Kavita Seths husband passes away

Singer Kavita Seth of 'Iktara' (Wake Up Sid) fame suddenly lost her husband K.K. Seth on Thursday morning. He was only 48. The Seths have two young teenaged sons. Distraught and barely able to speak, Kavita said on Friday morning, "It was all over in just three days. I can't believe he's gone! I don't know how I'll carry on." Four days ago, Kavita's husband who worked at the Airport Authority Of India, came home at lunch complaining of a stomach ache. Says Kavita, "We took him to nearby hospital. We were told to take him to a bigger hospital since his condition was serious. He was detected with Pancreatitis and his treatment began accordingly. But no medicine worked. In just three days...it was all over. It was destiny, I guess. Jissko jana hota hai, woh jayega." As the news of the sudden and shocking death spread among family and friends, the Seths' residence began to project a crowd of gloom. Kavita says she now has to work harder since she must play both mother and father to her sons. "I must not allow them to feel they're deprived in any way because their father is no more with them. It's a very difficult situation for me. It has come on me without warning. One day he was here. The next day he's gone. But I have to cope. For my sons." Luckily, the work is coming in from the topmost filmmakers in Bollywood. And the Sufi singer has enough on the plate to make sure her kids are well looked after.
