Zilla Ghaziabad in legal trouble

Producer Vinod Bachchan's film Zilla Ghaziabad staring Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi has run into legal trouble. A legal notice has been sent to Vinod and his production house Soundarya Films by Krishna Devi, wife of the alleged UP gangster Mahinder Singh Fauji to stop the film as it is reportedly based on Fauji's life. Mahinder Singh Fauji was reportedly a UP gangster, who was killed in a gang war in Ghaziabad 15 years ago. As his family got to know that a film is being made called Zilla Ghaziabad, which is based on the gang wars of the 90's and Arshad Warsi plays the role of a character named Fauji, they decided to take immediate action. Krishna Devi has petitioned the Delhi High Court to halt the film as they are worried it might show Fauji in bad light. However, Vinid Bachchan maintains that his film is a pure work of fiction.
