Javed Akhtar criticizes Kolaveri Di

South Indian actor Dhanush, who just managed to create history with his smash hit track 'Kolaveri Di', might have the whole world swooning to his tunes. But as they say, you can't please everybody at the same time; this song has not managed to impress the noted lyricist Javed Akhtar. Talking about his take on the song, Javed tweeted, "KOLAVARI-D Every one is praising the robes but the emporer is naked. Tune ordinary, singing substandard. Words an insult to sensibility.'" Akhtar got some negative reactions from his followers for his comments on the song. To which Javed replied back saying, "What kind of logic is this even if all my songs are trash, meaningless, unbearable how does that make this Kolaveri D good." Javed's 'on-your-face' reaction to the hit track has indeed got him lot of flak from many twitter users. To which he replied back saying, "Its a barrage of comments about my comment on KOLA...some are calling me jealous, even abusing me, others praising me for belling the cat." All in all, we can only say, to each his own!
