Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi, the former head of programming of Colors, plan to launch their film company Grazing Goat Productions, with a film titled Oh My God. Oh My God is based on Paresh Rawal's critically acclaimed and successful Gujarati play Kanji Virrudh Kanji, which was adapted in Hindi as Krishna Vs Kanhaiya. Kanji Virrudh Kanji is a story about the clash between an atheist and God. Oh My God will be directed by Umesh Shukla, who also directed the play and Paresh Rawal will reprise the protagonist's role in the film. Paresh will also be the line producer for the project. Akshay was to play the role of Lord Krishna in the film but had to opt out as he is tied up with five films next year, namely Joker, Rowdy Rathore, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Part 2, Khiladi 786 and Special Chabbis. They are now planning to rope in some other big star for the role of Lord Krishna. The film will go on floor in the first week of January, 2012 and is expected to release in the last quarter of 2012
